These clinics are for GP’s to refer into for clients with complex problems: the referral email address is available on the Sexual Health Intranet page.

We offer a specialised menopause clinic. This is for women with a complex medical history, women experiencing difficulties with side-effects of HRT or are finding it difficult to find a suitable treatment for their menopausal symptoms.

We only accept referrals from GP’s and secondary care (i.e. gynaecology and breast cancer services). For management of menopause symptoms we recommend seeing your GP in the first instance or speak to your practice nurse.

You will be asked about medication, weight, allergies and scrotal lumps/previous surgery. If your medical history is suitable, you can be added to the waiting list and contacted once an appointment becomes available.

All the pre op information will be sent to you by email, including a short video clip. This is available to watch here if you wish.
