Your Invitation to our Annual General Meeting

Monday 11th July 2022

You are invited to attend Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 27th July 2022 at 2pm, where we will be presenting our Annual Report and Annual Accounts for 2021/22.

By joining this meeting, you will have the opportunity to hear about our progress and performance over the past year and our plans for the future. There will also be opportunities for you to ask questions to our Board members. We would ask that, where possible, you submit your questions in advance via the Teams link below.  However, there will also be opportunities to ask questions during the meeting. We will endeavour to answer as many as possible during the meeting.  A written response will be provided for all questions within 14 days of the meeting.

Please note, a question may be rejected if it:

  • is not about a matter relevant to Aneurin Bevan University Health Board 
  • is defamatory, frivolous or offensive
  • names, or clearly identifies, a member of staff, patient or any other individual
  • Is an issue about an individual’s patient care
  • requests the disclosure of information which is confidential or exempt by virtue of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
  • it would be too expensive or take too much staff resource to deal with the question (as per Freedom of Information guidelines)
  • is substantially the same as a question asked within the last six months (in which case the questioner will be directed to the previous response on the Health Board’s website)

To register for the meeting, please use this link. Once you have registered, you will be emailed with a link to join the meeting on Microsoft Teams.

 

You can join a Teams meeting anytime, from any device, whether or not you have a Teams account. If you don't have an account, follow these steps to join as a guest:

Joining from a desktop computer:

  1. Go to the meeting email invitation that you have been sent after registering and select ‘Join Microsoft Teams Meeting’
  2. Once you have clicked that link, a webpage will load where you will see two options: click on the option to ‘Join on the web instead’
  3. When you are ready to join the meeting, click ‘Join now’
  4. You will now join the virtual lobby and you will be let into the meeting once the meeting has started.

 

Joining from a mobile device:

  1. Go to the meeting email invitation that you have been sent after registering and select ‘Join Microsoft Teams Meeting’
  2. If you don’t already have the Teams mobile app, you will be taken to your app store to download it
  3. Download the app and open it
  4. You will see two options; if you have a Teams account, click ‘Sign in and join’. If you do not have a Teams account, click ‘Join as a guest’
  5. Depending on which option you choose, either enter your login details or enter a name and then click ‘Join meeting’
  6. You will now join the virtual lobby and you will be let into the meeting once the meeting has started.
