Consultant Nurse Linda Edmunds Receives Chief Nursing Officer Excellence Award

Congratulations to Linda Edmunds, Consultant Nurse at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, who received a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Excellence Award at this year’s CNO Conference in Cardiff.

Linda was recognised by Chief Nursing Officer for Wales, Sue Tranka, for her outstanding contributions to cardiac care and her leadership within the nursing profession.

The award celebrates nurses and midwives who go above and beyond their everyday roles to deliver exceptional care and present values of compassion and innovation in their public service.

These awards were presented at the launch of a new strategic vision for nursing and midwifery in Wales. The vision focuses on creating an empowered workforce, strengthening leadership, and embedding research into practice.
