Patients of Lansbury Surgery, Caerphilly are being informed that Dr Fakande will resign from his General Medical Services Contract with effect from 30th April 2020.  As a single handed GP, Dr Fakande is required to provide a three-month notice period.

Please be aware that our Emergency Departments are extremely busy at present.  If you attend and are not seriously unwell you will be facing lengthy waits.

Yesterday (21st January), patients from Cae Teg Health Centre in Cwmbran received a letter from the Health Board confirming that Dr Allen and Partners wish to resign their General Medical Services Contract with effect from 30^th June 2020.

Unfortunately following the advice of a structural engineer, Brynmawr Medical Centre will remain closed until Friday lunchtime for the safety of patients and staff.

The Health Board’s Emergency Departments experienced their busiest month ever in December.
