A new NHS radiotherapy unit in Abergavenny will be officially named the Velindre @ Nevill Hall Radiotherapy Unit.
Marie Roberts, Specialist Dietitian, and Katie Millward, Assistant Practitioner, from the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Public Health Dietetics team have been actively delivering the ‘Food and Nutrition Skills for those Providing Care’ course in care homes across the region. This vital training equips staff with essential knowledge to provide high-quality nutrition for their residents, ensuring they receive the best possible care.

This International Women’s Day (Saturday 8th March 2025), we wanted to showcase one of our hugely inspirational members of staff - Sexual & Reproductive Health Consultant, Menopause Lead, Cancer Survivor and Mother, Dr Michelle Olver. At age 19, Michelle was diagnosed with and beat Leukaemia, and that same determination has allowed her to thrive in both her work and personal life ever since.
