Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is reviewing how services are delivered at our Enhanced Local General Hospitals (Nevill Hall Hospital, Royal Gwent Hospital and Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr), as part of the next phase of our Clinical Futures strategy.

Our goal is to make sure these hospitals work effectively alongside the Grange University Hospital and our growing community services — delivering safe, modern, and sustainable care, as close to home as possible.

We are launching an eight-week engagement period to give everyone — patients, carers, local residents, staff, partner organisations and community groups — a chance to review our proposals and help shape the future of care.

We want your views on:

How services are delivered locally
Our principles and priorities for future care
Any concerns or ideas you think we should consider

The engagement runs until Friday 15 August 2025.
