Heading to university this autumn? Don't miss your MenB vaccination

As you prepare for university life, there is one important item to add to your checklist: getting fully protected against MenB.

The MenB vaccine helps protect against meningococcal group B disease, which can cause serious illnesses including meningitis and septicaemia.

If you have already received your first MenB vaccination, it is essential that you attend your second appointment. The vaccine requires two doses to provide full protection.

Students are also reminded that the MenB vaccination offer is time-limited, so it is important to take up the opportunity while you are still eligible.
