The #YourNHSisFullofPride campaign is a powerful celebration of allyship, inclusion and visibility. The campaign showcases Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s unwavering commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ staff, patients, and communities.
Scott Wilson-Evans & Dr Elle Maybury, Chairs for the Health Board LGBTQIA+ Staff Network said:
“We’re incredibly proud that Your NHS is Full of Pride has received this national recognition. The campaign reflects the true spirit of our Health Board- one built on kindness, respect and inclusion. Seeing over 1,200 colleagues sign our pledge shows that allyship is more than words; it’s action. This award belongs to everyone who helps make our NHS a place where all can belong, because inclusion is essential in all that we do in delivering the very best care to the people of Gwent as well as our staff.”
The year-round campaign rolled out a series of activities and educational resources for staff and the public, aimed at increasing awareness, celebrating diversity, and strengthening support for LGBTQIA+ individuals in healthcare settings.
