"I could not fault the care and attention I received from staff ..... it was nothing short of exemplary"

We are delighted to share some wonderful feedback received from patient Keith Board, who recently received care at The Grange University Hospital. 

Keith was admitted by ambulance after experiencing severe chest pains and was cared for by teams in both the Majors Unit and Cardiac Ward A2. During his stay he underwent a number of tests, including ECGs, heart monitoring, an echocardiogram and a treadmill test before being safely discharged home. 

Reflecting on his experience, Keith said: 

"I could not fault the care and attention that I received from staff from the minute that I arrived at The Grange until the point that I was discharged. All of the staff that I encountered should receive thanks for the personable, caring and professional manner with which they went about their work. It was nothing short of exemplary." 

Keith also praised the many staff involved in his care, recognising not only the clinical teams but everyone who played a part in his hospital journey. 

We would like to thank Keith for taking the time to share his experience and are proud to pass on his kind words to colleagues in the Emergency Department, Cardiac Services and all those who helped care for him.
