Parking Notice for the Royal Gwent Hospital - 21st - 24th March 2025

Monday 17th March 2025

Staff, patients and visitors are advised that the car park at Mendalgief Road will be closed from the morning of Friday 21st March until the evening of Monday 24th. 

We appreciate this will cause great inconvenience at a site that already suffers from a lack of parking facilities. This temporary closure is unavoidable, however, whilst essential maintenance takes place.

Staff, patients and visitors are advised to seek alternatives such as car-sharing, or using public transport. Parking is available at Park Square multi-storey car park, which is a five-minute walk from the Royal Gwent Hospital. Additional spaces can also be found at Kingsway car park, as well as some residential streets. 

Traffic attendants will be on hand to support and advise drivers.
