Public Health Workforce Week: Introducing the Gwent Public Health Team newsletter!

As part of #PublicHealthWorkforceWeek, we’re proud to launch our new quarterly newsletter, highlighting how the Gwent Public Health Team is working to improve health and reduce inequalities across our communities.

For us, public health starts with the people we serve. This newsletter reflects our commitment to equity, showcasing the ongoing work, partnerships, and initiatives we develop with and for our communities.

Inside this issue:

  • Community & Partnership Spotlights – Celebrating residents, organisations, and collaborators driving change on the ground. From grassroots initiatives to cross-sector partnerships, these efforts help build a healthier, fairer, and stronger Gwent.

  • Our Work in Action – Updates on projects and services designed to address the health priorities that matter most, from reducing inequalities to protecting and promoting wellbeing.

  • Impact Stories – Real examples of how community-centred public health initiatives are making a tangible difference across Gwent.

Who is this for?
Anyone who shares our vision of equitable, healthier communities: public health practitioners, NHS colleagues, local authority partners, voluntary organisations, community groups, and residents committed to making a difference.
