Road Closure Notice

It is planned to open the newly constructed A465 westbound entry slip road from Brynmawr roundabout to Ebbw Vale earlier than the predicted 16 week timescale. In order to achieve this a number of night closures of the eastbound carriageway between Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr are required. Over these nights final tie-in works and installation of communications cabling etc will be undertaken.

The overnight closures will take place between 20:00 and 06:00 on:
Sunday 29 November - Thursday 3 December (5 Nights). Ebbw Vale to Brynmawr - Eastbound Only. Official diversion route can be seen here: https://a465.info/Overnightclosures 

This will then lead into a full weekend closure between Brynmawr and Gilwern 
(Eastbound and Westbound) on:

20:30 Friday 4 December - 06:00 Monday 7 December - Brynmawr to Gilwern.

Following these closures the westbound slip road between Brynmawr and Ebbw Vale will open on Monday 7 December 2020.
