Staff from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board announced as finalists at the NHS Wales Awards 2024

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board staff are celebrating after being shortlisted at this year’s NHS Wales Awards.

The NHS Wales Awards celebrate excellence in improvement and quality across health and care in Wales, showcasing the incredible quality and safety improvement work that has transformed the experience and outcomes for people in Wales. The categories are aligned with Duty of Quality and Health and Care Quality Standards 2023.

Teams from Aneurin Bevan University Health Board have been shortlisted in the following categories:

NHS Wales Leadership Award

  • Community Neuro Rehab Service – Making the Most of Leadership at Every Level - Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Cardiff, on Thursday 24 October 2024. After receiving an overwhelming number of inspiring entries this year, the judging panel formed of experts drawn from across NHS Wales, the public sector and professional bodies have found it incredibly difficult to shortlist the 36 finalists. The next stage will see judges take part in virtual visits with each finalist to find out more about their improvement projects.
