We're Moondance Cancer Awards Finalists!

We are delighted to announce that our teams and members of staff in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board have been shortlisted for this year's Moondance Cancer Awards in recognition of their amazing work to improve cancer services across the Gwent area.

 

The Moondance Cancer Awards aim to celebrate and spotlight individuals and teams across NHS Wales and its partners who deliver, lead and innovate cancer services.

Over 110 nominations have been shortlisted down to 55 organisations, teams and individuals across 10 categories in areas including early detection and diagnosis, patient experience and cancer treatment.

One of those teams to have made the shortlist was the Breast Unit team, where in tandem, Mr. Michael Rees, Consultant Breast Surgeon, was also nominated individually in the Excellence category.
