Work underway on new Llanbradach Primary Care Centre

Work is underway on the new £3m Primary Care Centre in Llanbradach. Work started in March 2020 and the new building is expected to be complete in spring 2021.

The development confirms the commitment given to the local population during the public consultation events and is designed to address the particular needs of the Llanbradach community.

Apollo, a third party development company was appointed in 2017 to design and build the centre. The company has worked closely with the two GP practices, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Caerphilly County Borough Council, the Community Health Council and the Llanbradach Partnership, ensuring a local say on the facilities offered.

It is estimated that the centre will be open in spring 2021 and will provide general medical services for the two independent GP practices in Llanbradach.
