Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROM)

What is a PROM?

A Patient Reported Outcome Measure or ‘PROM’ is an assessment or a list of questions specifically designed and chosen for the health condition you are diagnosed with.

The answers you provide us with help your medical team of nurses and doctors get a picture of your current health. The answers are reviewed by your health care team, meaning the time you talk to them is focussed on what is important to you. In some instances, when completing the assessment in advance of appointments, it may mean we can offer you an alternative appointment rather than a face to face which saves you a trip to the hospital.

The questions are condition specific, chosen by world leading specialists, peer reviewed, and often validated internationally.

Your medical team find the information you provide through the assessment very helpful when delivering your care.
