A Joint Strategic Assessment (JSA) provides a comprehensive overview of the health and well-being of the people of Gwent in an accessible way for everyone to view.

The Gwent JSA sits alongside the newly-developed Gwent Indicator Framework to provide partners across Gwent with a shared intelligence source to inform planning for local service delivery. Together, they provide a framework for building a Healthier, Fairer, Safer and Stronger Gwent, as described in our latest Director of Public Health report.
