The Urology Assessment Unit is situated at the end of Ward D2 East, Royal Gwent Hospital. This unit is for urology emergency and urgent patient cases only.  This is a short stay unit and can help us to give you an early diagnosis and treat any urological emergencies.  At this point we may be able to tell you if you will need to be admitted into hospital.

The unit is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
