All our community pharmacies now offer a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) service as part of the Common Ailments Service.
If you have symptoms of a UTI, and are a non-pregnant woman aged from 16 to 64, the pharmacist can help you manage the condition. If you need them, the pharmacist can also supply appropriate antibiotics. You will need to take a small urine sample with you when you visit the pharmacy. Symptoms can be burning pain when urinating, needing to urinate more often or cloudy urine.
To find a pharmacy in your area providing this service, please visit 111.wales.nhs.uk, click the ‘Services Near You’ link, select ‘Pharmacy', enter your postcode and select ‘Common Aliments Service' from the filter list on the left-hand side.
