Our Public Health Team is developing a new tool that will give a snapshot of the current challenges around supporting babies and children to have the very best start in life. Once developed the tool will provide data along with recommendations to local NHS, Local Authorities, Third Sector and more to help inform the planning of services and support to help us all give the best start in life to babies and children across Gwent. 

To help us understand some of the current challenges, we want to hear from people thinking about children, expectant parents, parents and carers across Gwent. To this we will be carrying out engagement surveys, group focus groups and 121 conversations. Our engagement will be running until the end of September.
