A Joint Strategic Assessment (JSA) provides a comprehensive overview of the health and well-being of the people of Gwent in an accessible way for everyone to view.
The Gwent JSA aims to provide partners across Gwent with a shared intelligence source to inform planning for local service delivery. It provides a framework for building a Healthier, Fairer, Safer and Stronger Gwent.

Using the Gwent JSA

It provides evidence of challenges and opportunities for local communities, describes some of the disparities in health and social outcomes that exist within Gwent’s different local authority areas, and highlights opportunities for working together to build a healthier, fairer, safer and stronger Gwent.
