Outpatients / Day units
The haematology outpatient services and clinics are provided in both the Royal Gwent Hospital and Nevill Hall hospital:

The Medical Day Case Unit is situated on the 3rd floor of the Royal Gwent Hospital (opposite the canteen). The opening hours are Monday to Friday 09:00am – 5:00pm. It is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
The department offers a Haematology outpatients service, and day unit provision of chemotherapy, transfusions and venesections.
Outpatient clinics are also held in the unit:
- Haemostasis and Thrombosis (Monday)
- Lymphoid (Tuesday)
- Myeloid (Wednesday and Thursday)
- Myeloma (Wednesday pm)

The Day Case Unit is situated on the second floor of Nevill Hall Hospital in Ward 2:4. The department offers a Haematology outpatients service, and day unit provision of chemotherapy, transfusions and venesections.
Hours of Work: Tuesday – Friday from 08:30am – 4:30pm. It is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
Outpatient clinics are also held in the unit.
