To help prevent infection, face masks must continue to be worn upon entering all our hospital sites, wards, emergency department and clinical settings, including our Minor Injury Units (MIU) by all staff, visitors and patients.
Masks will be available at the entrances to wards and clinical areas. We would also ask anyone visiting our sites to also regularly wash their hands or use the hand gels provided.
Please also note, due to high levels of flu circulating in our communities, patients are to be only accompanied by 1 other person.
The use of masks and correct hand hygiene will help us to protect vulnerable patients and reduce transmission risks.
Protect yourself from the Flu with the Flu Vaccine
We are seeing a significant number of flu cases and other respiratory infections across our communities and an increase in hospital admissions.
💪🏼 We would strongly encourage everyone who is eligible to protect themselves by having their flu vaccine. You can now walk in to any of our vaccine clinics to have yours.
