Public Health

The Nutrition Skills for Life team is a team of Public Health Dietitians who aim to help people and communities to get healthier by helping them to understand more about food and nutrition.

We do this by supporting community groups to improve their knowledge and by signposting people and groups to some of the many food and nutrition activities and support in their area.

We train other Health, Social Care and third sector organisations, staff and volunteers with food and nutrition skills courses.

We also help other organisations like councils and schools to provide better food and nutrition services for example school meals and tuck shops, luncheon clubs and community cafes, and we share information about where you can find trustworthy facts about good nutrition.
