Respiratory Physiology

The Respiratory Physiology clinics are held in the Chest Clinic at St Woolos Hospital, or the Cardiorespiratory Unit, Floor 1 in Nevill Hall Hospital and Outpatients, Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan Hospital. Please note some tests can only be undertaken at specific sites.

The function of these clinics is to perform breathing tests to aid in the diagnosis of lung disease. 

The Service is provided:

• Monday-Friday in Chest Clinic St Woolos Hospital
• Tuesday-Friday in Cardiorespiratory unit, Nevill Hall Hospital
• Monday and every Wednesday in Outpatients, Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan Hospital.

You will be sent an invitation letter asking you to contact us to make an appointment. You will be offered an appointment at any site where we run the service unless a specific test has been requested and this is only supported at one of the sites. You will receive a confirmation letter and text regarding your appointment and an information leaflet relevant to your tests.
