Hospital Transport

Visit www.ambulance.wales.nhs.uk or call 0300 123 2303 to check eligibility for patient transport.
 

Interpreter

Contact us if you need an interpreter for your appointment.

Hearing Aid and Chargers

Payment for Replacement Hearing Aids and Chargers 

If you need to replace an NHS hearing aid or charger, the following charges apply: 

  • Replacement hearing aid (single): £75 
  • Replacement hearing aids (pair): £150 
  • Replacement charger for a rechargeable hearing aid: £40

How to Pay

Pay in person
Pay by cash or cheque ONLY at Royal Gwent Hospital, Ystrad Mynach Hospital, or Nevill Hall Hospital.

Online Payment (Preferred)
Pay securely online using the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board payment portal.

Scan Pay
Scan the QR code to access the official online payment page. 

When making an online payment, please enter the patient's first name, surname and date of birth. Once payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please keep this email as proof of payment and show it to your Audiologist if requested. The Audiology Administration Team will also receive notification of your payment.
