Do all services use PROMs?

Not at the moment. PROMs are one of the many tools we use to deliver the best care we can. Not all services of the health board are collecting PROM data yet. Each service has identified a benefit to asking you these questions through a digital assessment.

How often and at what points you are asked to complete the PROM assessment depends on your condition and the service. We call it a pathway. The pathways are specifically designed to be the best and most effective for you and your specific condition.

You may find that you are sent assessments for more than one condition. For example, with Epilepsy and Diabetes, you will get tailored assessments for each at precise intervals specific to each condition. Each text will state which condition the assessment is linked to, but please use the assessment to tell us if one is affecting the other. Remember the PR in PROM stands for ‘Patient Reported’ – so please use it to report to us how you are feeling.
