You may already be aware that the practice became directly managed by Aneurin Bevan University Board following the retirement of the former GP Partners as of 1st January 2023.
We are pleased to confirm that, following a robust recruitment campaign in accordance with the Vacant Practice Process, the Health Board has successfully secured a new independent GP partnership to take on the management and delivery of General Medical Services for Blaenavon Medical Practice. The contract has been awarded to Dr J Allinson and Dr J Ahmed with effect from the 1st of April 2024.
