Where will I be able to park?

The car park for The Bevan Health & Wellbeing Centre is the final phase of the development. To help accommodate parking when the centre first opens, we are moving services into the centre on a phased approach. We have an agreement with the local recreation ground car park (NP22 3NN) a few minutes down the road where patients and staff can park. Please allow additional time to arrive for your appointment to walk to the Health & Wellbeing Centre.

Is there disabled parking available?

There are nine disabled car parking spaces available in the small car park to the right of the building. There is also a dropped kerb as you come out of the car park and a ramp from the pavement to the entrance of the building to make it accessible for those in wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs/prams.

What services will be available?

The Health & Wellbeing Centre will house two existing GP Practices working independently; Tredegar Medical Practice and Glan-yr-Afon Surgery. The centre will bring a range of services for patients together in one place, including General Medical Services, Community Pharmacy and General Dentist Services, Community Services, Social Care and Third Sector Partners. This development is a fundamental element of the clinical futures model within the Blaenau Gwent Borough, helping the Health Board deliver a wide range of services closer to home for the local community.
