Chronic Pain

We know that living with long term pain can be difficult, both physically and psychologically. It can have huge impacts on the way you think, the types of thoughts you might have, the way you feel and the behaviours that result from this. People experiencing chronic pain often present difficulties in other aspects of their life including sleep disruptions, changes in memory and concentration, difficulties around maintaining relationships and issues with anxiety and fatigue.

Seeing a Practitioner Psychologist can increase a person’s understanding of the pain they are experiencing, reduce anxiety and low mood, in addition to general psychological support for day-to-day struggles.
