The Clinical Psychology team, work within the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service (CNRS), across stoke and acquired brain injury (ABI) pathways. We also provide support for people with non-epileptic attacks. We work closely with ABUHB (Aneurin Bevan University Health Board) hospital wards, and neurological and neuropsychiatric services in Cardiff to support Gwent-based patients returning home.
We provide psychological and neuropsychological assessment, advice, consultation and psychological intervention to patients, families, referrers, and other professionals, to support the psychological wellbeing of people affected by stroke and acquired brain injury.
If you would like to speak to a member of the service, please telephone between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and we will be happy to take your call. An answering machine service is available outside of these hours which will be checked at the start of the next working day.
