Director of Corporate Governance

Rani had been Board Secretary for Powys Teaching Health Board for 3 years prior to joining Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Rani developed her governance career in Powys, working in a number of senior roles within the corporate services portfolio, covering board governance, risk management, assurance and policy management as well as providing senior level business management support the Chief Executive in the day to day leadership, management and delivery of health board business.

Rani has experience of implementing strong governance systems and processes and has developed risk management systems and processes to ensure frameworks are in place to achieve regulatory compliance.

As Director of Corporate Governance for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Rani directly supports the Chief Executive Officer and Health Board Chair in developing strong, efficient and effective corporate governance systems, processes and culture.
