Following HR and training roles in the private sector during her early career, Sarah joined the NHS as a HR Officer in 2003. Since joining Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in 2009, Sarah has progressed through various roles including Workforce Business Partner and most recently Deputy Director of Workforce & Organisational Development. Sarah holds a Masters degree in Human Resources Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
Sarah has a passion for people and her work involves making sure the Health Board has the right staff with the right skills and experience to deliver the best possible care for our patients. Sarah champions our value of ‘putting people first’ and is dedicated to promoting diversity, wellbeing and career development with our staff as well as redoubling our efforts to ensure Aneurin Bevan University Health Board continues to be a great place to work.
Sarah lives in Caerphilly with her husband and two children.
