Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advice on third primary dose vaccination

Following Wednesday’s announcement and recommendations from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisations regarding a third primary dose of the COVID-19 vaccination for some individuals who are immunosuppressed due to underlying health conditions or medical treatment, we would like to assure our residents that we will be working with our medical teams in Primary and Secondary Care to ensure we identify those eligible for a third primary dose to offer an appointment over the next few weeks. We ask that if you feel you meet the criteria for a third primary dose as outlined by the JCVI that you contact our vaccination team on 0300 303 1373 as soon as possible. Our team will be on hand to take all relevant details and then link with your clinician to confirm your position.
