To mark Heart Failure Week (27th April–3rd May), the Gwent Public Health Team and Cardiology staff will be visiting communities across Gwent, sharing free advice and support to help you look after your heart.
Did you know that keeping active, maintaining a healthy weight and diet, limiting your alcohol intake and stopping smoking can improve your health and lower your chances of developing heart failure?
There are more than 46,000 people in Wales who have been diagnosed with heart failure by their GP. That’s more than 8,800 people within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board area! Keeping on top of your heart health is really important - remember to follow guidance from your doctor and take any medicines they have prescribed.
Why not pop down to one of the following locations throughout the week for free advice and support from our Specialist Cardiac Team to help keep your heart healthy?
