Chloe, 30, from Ebbw Vale, was in a busy and exciting period of her life. She was raising two children, aged one and three, and preparing to marry her long‑term partner when she began experiencing symptoms that she initially dismissed as stress.
April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, which aims to raise awareness of bowel cancer by encouraging eligible people to take part in screening, be aware of the symptoms, and to act if something doesn’t feel right
You know your body. If you notice changes in your bowel habits that don’t go away; blood in your poo, or unexplained weight loss- don’t ignore it. Speak to your GP.
