Temporary Disruption to the Emergency Department Entrance at The Grange University Hospital

Please be aware that as part of the ongoing work for the Emergency Department extension at The Grange University Hospital, canopy installation works will take place next week on the following dates:

  • Monday 29th September 2025 between 08:00 and 18:00
  • Tuesday 30th September 2025 - Saturday 4th October between 06:00 and 18:00

During this time, the Emergency Department's main entrance will be closed for safety purposes and patients and visitors will be redirected to enter via an alternative entrance.

Additional security staff will be on site to guide and support patients and staff during this time.

Please be assured that we will ensure this work is done as quickly as possible to minimise disruption and inconvenience for patients and staff. We appreciate your patience and co-operation as we carry out these necessary improvements.
