YYF Breast Unit Named Capital Project of the Year at IHEEM Awards
We’re delighted to announce that the Breast Unit at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (YYF) has been named Capital Project of the Year at the prestigious Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM) Awards 2025!
The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management recognises excellence in healthcare engineering and estates and facilities management across the UK.
Commissioned by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, BAM Construction led the build alongside Powell Dobson Architects and Ove Arup. The award is a reflection of the innovation, collaboration, and community that brought this vital facility to life and has since allowed us to provide compassionate care in a purpose-built, patient-centred environment.
