Weight Management Service

The Adult Weight Management Service is open and here to help you during and beyond COVID-19.

With the current circumstances we have had to change how we operate our day to day work. At present we will be offering our support through online and telephone communication only, meaning no face to face appointments or group sessions – for both your safety and for ours. Details of how to access the service can be found below.

We understand that you may not wish to access the service whilst it operates virtually and we therefore ask you to revisit this website regularly for the most up to date information regarding how the service is running and ongoing developments.

In the mean-time if you would like to access any online resources and self-help information we have included some useful links to get you started:

How to access our service:

You can ask your GP or any health professional to be referred to us. You will be asked to fill out a “Request for Help” form, detailing some information about yourself and hopes and expectations from the Weight Management Service. Alternatively, you can self-refer by completing and returning a Request for Help to the address found on the form.

When we receive and accept your referral, we will send further information about the service and ask you to confirm that you are happy to participate virtually. If you do not respond, or wish to wait, you will be removed from our list and we ask that you are re-referred once the service can help you in your preferred way. Please check this website regularly for service development and updates.
