Bladder and Bowel Service

Welcome to the Bladder and Bowel Service

Incontinence is a common problem for all ages, and whenever it occurs it can be distressing and embarrassing, greatly undermining quality of life, impinging on the independence and dignity of the individual. The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board bladder and bowel service aims to deliver accessible, safe evidence based care to all ages of people living with bladder and bowel dysfunction. We are a nurse led service who prides itself on offering support to patients, service users, carers and staff that is equitable and of high quality.

Where we are based
Our service office address is based at Llanfrechfa Grange, however there are no facilities to see patients at this address. Our clinics are held at the Royal Gwent Hospital, County Hospital, Cwmbran Health Centre, Chepstow Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan and Nevil Hall Hospital.

Our hospitals are smoke free sites. This means there’s no smoking allowed anywhere on the property. This includes outside entrances and in our car parks and grounds. The smoking ban applies to everyone.
