The event also highlighted ABUHB's nurse-led heart failure service as an example of innovative, person-centred care.

Participants engaged in interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions, enabling them to develop their skills and understanding of value-based healthcare. The collaboration between ABUHB and Sprink facilitated knowledge sharing and fostering relationships among healthcare professionals, ensuring that attendees left the event inspired and better prepared to implement PCVBHC principles in their daily practice.

"We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the PCVBHC Training Programme a success," said Adele Cahill, Assistant Director for VBHC and Innovation. "We look forward to working with key services and multidisciplinary teams across ABUHB to drive innovation and demonstrate true value for the people of Gwent."

The inaugural event's success highlights the growing interest and commitment to advancing person-centred, value-based healthcare within the healthcare community. ABUHB and Sprink plan to continue their collaboration further to promote value-based healthcare practices in the region and beyond.
