Long Service Awards 2023 - Recognising Our Dedicated Staff

Wednesday 12th April

Congratulations to our Long Service Award Holders!

Over the past few weeks, staff have been invited to attend awards ceremonies at Nevill Hall Hospital, Royal Gwent Hospital, and The Grange University Hospital.

Opened by Chief Executive, Nicola Prygodzicz and Chair, Ann Lloyd, the events recognised staff that have reached milestones of 25 and 40 years of service.

An incredible feat of service with a combined 3,000+ years of service among the over 120 staff recognised this year so far and more to be recognised at upcoming events.

8th March - Nevill Hall Hospital

20th March - Nevill Hall Hospital

28th March - Royal Gwent Hospital

4th April - The Grange University Hospital

In response to suggestions from our employees, the Health Board changed the process associated with long service recognition so those who achieve 25, 40, or 50 years of NHS service are now automatically identified using records and staff will be contacted by letter to attend an event.

It is important that all staff are recognised for their contribution of long service. Thank you to all our staff for your continued service and commitment to working with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
