Professor Euan Hails MBE Awarded 'Queen's Nurse' Title

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Professor Euan Hails MBE, Consultant Nurse in Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health (S-CAMHS), who proudly accepted the ‘Queen’s Nurse’ title at The Queen's Nursing Institute Awards.

The Queen’s Nurse programme brings together community nurses to develop their professional skills and deliver outstanding patient care in the community.

“I was supported in getting my QN by Jenny Winslade (Executive Directorate of Nursing), Chris Overs (Divisional Nurse for Family and Therapies) and Kolade Gamel (Service Group Manager for Family and Therapies) from the Health Board, Andrew Homfray, Service Manager from Hywel Dda University Health Board and Alan Thomas, CEO of Adferiad” said, Euan. 

“From a nursing perspective, the Queen’s Nurse title is very prestigious and recognises our community nursing practise in CAMHS, across the Family and Therapies Division and UHB, and I am very proud to be one.”
