The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales has investigated a complaint and found maladministration/service failure by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and has sent a report on the results of their investigation to Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The complaint related to a failure by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to offer fampridine, a drug that may help to improve walking for some patients with multiple sclerosis, to eligible patients in its area.

It is also available for inspection by the public without charge during normal office hours at Headquarters Building, St Cadocs Hospital, Lodge Road, Caerleon, for a period of 3 weeks from Thursday 15th February 2024, and anyone who wishes may take a copy of this report or make extracts therefrom.
