Showcase your Incredible Achievements in Improvement at the NHS Wales Awards 2023!

The NHS Wales Awards celebrate improvement work that has transformed the experience and outcomes for people in Wales. Whether it’s a big or small change you’ve made, the awards are your opportunity to showcase your fantastic work for health and care across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Anyone working in NHS Wales can enter the awards including students. Winners will be offered continued support. They will have a platform to share their work locally, nationally, and internationally.

The categories are the same as last year:

  • Delivering higher value health and care
  • Delivering person-centred services
  • Empowering people to co-produce their care
  • Enriching the wellbeing, capability and engagement of the health and care workforce
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Improving patient safety
  • Providing services in partnership across NHS Wales
  • Working seamlessly across the public and third sector

National Director of NHS Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Prof John Boulton said, “As hosts of the NHS Wales Awards, we’re thrilled that it’s nearly time to submit entries for this year. It’s important to showcase the innovative work that is being achieved across the NHS in Wales and this is a great platform to do so. Best of luck to all of you submitting an entry, we’re looking forward to celebrating your achievements”.
