A huge thank you to the Community Pharmacists working in our Health Board area, who between January and November this year, have collectively:

• Dispensed over 14,000,000 prescription items

• Seen 15,000 people for the Common Ailments Service

• Administered 27,000 flu jabs

• Given 2,000 patients a Discharge Medical Review when they came out of hospital

• Helped 8,000 people with an emergency supply of medication

• Assisted 2,200 smokers with their quit attempts

• Provided 4000 consultations for emergency contraception
