We are delighted to announce that our teams and members of staff in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board have been shortlisted for this year's Moondance Cancer Awards in recognition of their amazing work to improve cancer services across the Gwent area.

We recently celebrated International Day of the Midwife on 5^th May 2024 and International Nurses Day on 12^th May 2024. From new born babies and student midwives to nursing through the ages and internationally educated nursing cafe awards… here’s a recap of the celebrations!

This month, we’re taking part in #MoveItMay by trying to stop deconditioning and encouraging our patients to get up, get dressed and keep moving as much as they can during their time in hospital with us (if appropriate to do so).

Recently, the Fracture Liaison Service Conference was held, where Consultant Geriatrician for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Dr Inder Singh, delivered a presentation on the work that's underway in the Health Board to improve bone health.
