This week, we’re supporting Children's Mental Health Week.
Did you know?
- 1 in 6 children and young people have a diagnosable mental health condition.
- 50% of those with lifetime mental health problems first experience symptoms by the age of 14.
No one should have to face mental health problems on their own.
If you're a child or young person
If you're a parent or guardian
- If you're a parent or guardian with concerns about a young person's mental well-being, the Young Minds Parents Helpline can provide free detailed advice, emotional support and signposting about a child or young person up to the age of 25. Call 0808 802 5544 from 9.30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
- If you need to talk to someone, text CONNECT to 85258 to speak to one of Shout's trained volunteers, which is available 24/7.
