JCVI issues advice on COVID-19 vaccination of children and young people

Following the recent announcement and recommendations from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisations regarding the approval of the COVID-19 vaccination of those aged between 12 and 17 years, who are at higher risk from COVID-19 and all those within twelve weeks of turning 18 years old will now be eligible to receive the vaccine.

We would like to assure our residents that we will be contacting all those that meet the updated criteria to offer an appointment over the next few weeks. We ask that you do not contact us to request an appointment, but we do ask that yours or your child’s details held with your GP Practice are up-to-date. We will aim to notify all individuals at least one week prior to their appointment and letters will be sent to your registered home address held with your GP.
