Long Service Awards 2023 - April & May

Thursday 1st June

Congratulations to our Long Service Award Holders!

Over April and May, staff have been invited to attend awards ceremonies at Nevill Hall Hospital and the Royal Gwent Hospital.

Opened by Chief Executive, Nicola Prygodzicz and Chair, Ann Lloyd, the events recognised staff that have reached milestones of 25, 40 and 50 years of service.

It continues to be an inspiring regular event that recognises the hard work of staff. Recognising over 80 more staff this year and an extra 2,000+ years of experience. The event also provides a great opportunity to personally thank our colleagues and catch up with old friends like Ceri and Gaynor did in May!

24th April - Nevill Hall Hospital

2nd May - Royal Gwent Hospital

22nd May - Nevill Hall Hospital

In response to suggestions from our employees, the Health Board changed the process associated with long service recognition so those who achieve 25, 40, or 50 years of NHS service are now automatically identified using records and staff will be contacted by letter to attend an event.

It is important that all staff are recognised for their contribution of long service. Thank you to all our staff for your continued service and commitment to working with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
